MODENAS manpower generally comes from adjacent regions. Before assembly operations commenced , 200 MODENAS engineers and operators were sent to Japan for training. When operations began, the number of staff had swelled to 700 people, the majority being production operators. At the peak of production in 1997, almost 1000 people were employed in MODENAS.
