Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan or MAIWP is a statutory body in Malaysia. MAIWP was established on February 1, 1974 concurrent with the establishment of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. Religious council is also responsible to Labuan and Putrajaya after each declared as a Federal Territory on 16 April 1984 and February 1, 2001.
